Building Blocks for a Book Workshop
This online small-group workshop is designed for first-time authors looking for community and to transform their story from idea to outline with confidence. This workshop will help you develop a manuscript you can be proud of with step-by-step instruction on outlining your story. The small-group format offers connection with other writers on a similar journey. This workshop is for anyone who needs help getting started or wants to revise a manuscript draft for publication. Instructional sessions will take place weekly for one-hour via Zoom.
In 10 weeks, you’ll get:
- A copy of the Author Accelerator Blueprint for a Book workbook
- Focused instruction on story fundamentals, story structure, and scene development
- Live, small-group coaching via Zoom: 1 hour/week for 4–6 weeks
- Supplemental handouts and resources on complex topics
- Individualized coaching/support for an additional 4 weeks
- Dedicated time to complete a 3-page draft outline of the major scenes in your story
- Targeted written feedback
- One 1-hour, one-to-one Zoom call to review your outline and next steps
- Community connection with other writers (and the opportunity to form a long-term writers’ group)
Group Cost: $300 per person
